Habitat

Mainly at trees, under the bark of dead timber, climbing up trees during rain. Usually in forests, sometimes also in open habitats at rocks.

Further information

Herbivorous, does not attack other snails, and consumes dead snails only if no herbs are available. Sometimes there are several species at one place to find. They rest in small groups.
