The three dimensional skull and lower jaw was subsequently prepared and is about 95% complete.

This fossil isn�t described so far.



Locality

The nearly complete skull of the dicynodon Oudenodon bainii OWEN was found in the Upper Permian Madumbabisa Mudstone of the Middle Luangwa Valley, Zambia.

Description of the model:

The cast is made of a high quality epoxy resin and coloured using a UV-resistant acrylic paint and varnish.

We currently have the only permission to cast this specimen.
